Final - Part 1

It is done, 1 semester, 4 compartments, 2 parades, dozens of domestic work, several presentations, 2 intermediate term exam, 4 final exam and a few gray hairs!

To the gray hair back in balance, it was high time for a couple of trips. And that's the point in my last report from Australia - Down Under.

Right after my last exam in mid-June, I started on my socks to discover Australia's east coast. Nearly 4 weeks had to meet it.

From my whereabouts the last few months, Sippy Downs, went there to Brisbane, Frankfurt resembling a city.
After a good night I flügelte north to Cairns. There all year ruled a pleasant climate.

What a coincidence ...

After thorough research, I found an excellent diving school with which I completed my open water diving certificate. The whole place on the Great Barrier Reef, a beautiful coral reef takes forever long. But before it was 2 days theory and practice in the classroom and pool, and finally a Final exam pass.

After passing the test, it finally happened ... Monday morning at 6 clock were all picked up by van and brought about 25 ft yacht. Equipped with drugs and Sea-bands for seasickness (I, anyway) suggested our boat about 3 hours at 40 knots of wind strength through the 4-5 foot waves of the Pacific Ocean. Apart from a few to the crew, everybody had to pass permanently. So I made myself useful and provided all the souls on board with water.

Arriving at the Reef for the first time we enjoyed a calm ocean.
addition, out of our clothes and into our dive gear we already splashed directly into deep waters 20-30 meters. Colorful fish (like Nemo & Co), sharks, turtles, sting rays, etc., were achieved in abundance to all bestaunen.Das during a night dive with its high point about 9-10 sharks around us constantly kreisten.Nach went 3 days on the ocean is finally back to Cairns. This time caught the seasickness even our good cook.

Nice to meet you Nemo

The Hessian flag we were not able to hand

showed after a day of rest in Australia's Outback at its best. My companion was red, about 1 m tall and had huge power - Quad biking on the program. Fun in its purest form, I would describe our whirlwind tour through the outback.

That same day I hopped in a rental car and drove north to Cape Tribulation. This track belongs to Australia's most breathtaking coastal path!
Cape Tribulation is the oldest rainforest in the world with a touch of the Scottish Highlands, including ocean view.

A bit of horse riding, hiking, crocodiles go-out-of-way and Picking coconuts decorated, my next few days ...

May I introduce: Mr. N (ed)

up in a nutshell, I remain Yours sincerely
