Berlinale 2011 - Cinematic diary into text and image (Bonus Content)

For three days I'm back from Berlin. And while press is currently at least 300,000 people over the Berlinale (as many tickets were in any event sold), may I finally sit in the quiet hobbit cave (code name of our schnuckligen Cologne's old apartment, fit the high ceilings hardly the code name) and birthday cake scent (not my have a birthday) in the nose as I write this. must

Some supplements to the busy but I still make colorful festival, for it is precisely because of various stressful or colorful events I'm in Berlin often not easy to get to blog.
Most of the things that had no place in the blog yet, have found the guest in my review for the exorbitant Podcast "media-cow" . It is strongly recommended to consult the complete episode 71 of the podcasts (and indeed all other episodes). Here are the five minutes of me that I have spoken in passing in 20 attempts in my iPhone:

Anons I must urgently come back again to the glasses. I already mentioned that play at the Berlin 3D movies are an important part. And often I have been slandered on the blog about the 3D technology.

This time I will do the opposite. On Monday I saw "Pina" , the dance film by Wim Wenders about the great Pina Bausch. The dances in it are stunning. I'm not expert enough Pina-to be able to judge them professionally. I can only say that I have cut down the choreography. And so I spanked this year for "Black Swan" is already a second favorite movie that has to do with dance.

The 3D effect in Pina is absolutely convincing. Everything looks sharp - even when it comes-something-from-the-screen effect. Obviously, more intensive than Wim Wenders has any director before him (except maybe Jams Cameron) dealt with the technology. In the interview he says: I have
"Avatar" is repeated often and quickly realized that the computer-animated avatars Although beautifully elegant moving - as I wanted our dancers should move. Only the real people running around in "Avatar" - which can hardly sit and watch. Movements are not simply round and smooth.
Just the things (except the loss of contrast that arises through the lens) that disturb me in 3D, has attempted to contact in "Pina" to get a grip - and it largely done. To avoid the jerky movements of time, resulting in 3D movies, 3D movies would actually be played at 50 frames per second. However, in cinemas, only 24 frames per second are shown. Because each image is much sharper than for a classic film made, creating the bucking. Wenders had no other choice than using the cartoon production company "The Work" to restore all Begweungsunschärfen fragmented digital.

The result looks stunning. And I can only recommend everyone to visit from next Thursday, the largest and technically best 3D cinema in the vicinity, the to place in the middle of the room and flashed to be.

Hach, but the razor-sharp 3D water drops splashing on the screen ... 3D is something that is more future than I thought a while yet. You have to give only when turning effort.

Finally, there is an absurd picture of the last Berlinale party where I was, and zerrockten on the hip movie people a dimly lit gay bar:

Yes, the toilets limits actually right on the dance floor at. It is what it ideally run, while above nachschüttet. Of which we dream as a man so every now and then secretly. But it really follow through, if you suddenly have the opportunity, is a different matter.
